Artist Statement:
Everything in life changes you in some way, even the smallest things.
If you do not these changes, you do not accept yourself.
The objective of my application is a self motivation about changes in life.
To make it interactive, I relate a story in this motivation; a white bear changes into a panda.
My message here, changes can make improvement in life and can make us a different or another person. Changes bring us a new life and opportunity.

Artist Statement:

Change brings opportunity. We can change our thoughts and we can change our world.

Change is a challenge in our lives. Things do not change, we change.

In my artwork screen design subject, shows a white bear spilled a black paint on his body and he change to panda bear.

My points here is we can change ourself without knowing, people change and forget to tell each other.

People change when they grow and improves their self.

For the typography, I put a big size for challenge as to make it a strong word in my artwork.

Chow Hon Lam

Chow Hon Lam is a t-shirt designer and a humorous illustrator from Malaysia. He has been completed this crazy project called Flying Mouse 365, which is create 1 design per day. I hope his illustrations can bring some smile and entertainment to the world.

In his artwork, everything around inspires him. He always believe that everything has their own story, a cup of tea, a watermelon, a pussy cat, a cloud, or even a chair. He try to create a story for them. Maybe they have something to say, but just can’t speak. He added some humour in his illustration and also give some meaningful message through imaging.

His artwork usually based on illustration. He start with a very rough sketch in Adobe Illustrator, then ink it and color it. Sometimes he used Photoshop too, depending on the amount of detail he needed for that particular design.

Title: Beyond

Artist Statement: Imagination, also the ability of forming new images and sensations. Imagination helps provide meaning to experience and understanding to knowledge. Imagination is subjective, every people had different kind of imagination. Their imagination might be limited or unlimited; depends on each person. My artwork here is to courage people, basically students and teenagers; to think more creative and beyond the limited imagination. Students nowadays would not really care about their dream and goal of life. Actually, it is really important to a person to set their own goal and dream to get a better future. My screen design artwork also is to let people to be more open minded and start to think beyond the imagination.

Title: Infinity

Artist Statement: Hope is the "feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best" or the act of "looking forward to something with desire and reasonable confidence" or "feeling that something desired may happen". Infinity; people are always doing something in hurry to chase time and life. A wasted hope; sometimes we really hope of something, but if we don’t work hard for it, you’ll never get of what you hope. And, if we work really hard for something, don’t hope that it would be as we expect. My artwork here is to remind people especially workaholics, to be more cautious on what we do and what we have done. Think twice before we do something, so it doesn't be really disappointing when our worked hard is not successful.
